alright. the dude has got his video and is now wondering waht all the fuss is about. i ushuallly dont post much anymore but i have some things on my mind and i for one dont feel chaeated. mabye a little dissapointed. but what did you expect???? it promised only this-"his greatest illusiions on tape" and it gave you just that. why were you expecting somthing new? it never mentioned anything new. and to anyone that feels cheated tell me waht the tape was missing? what illusions do people here think he shhould have put in that werent? im curious.
i think the only illusuions that were left out(for the most part) were the ones he's currently using.things like- one, thirteeen, laser, sloo mo duck, fan, panty swap, etc. All these are current illusions. all his old illusions were put on the tape, these are the classics, the GREATEST illusions. its what we were promised and i for one think he was smart for not putting those current/new illusions on a tape.many people would not go see him on tour if he realeased all his newer stufff on tape. if someone could just buy his current illusions and watch them over and over at home why would some go see him on tour.alot of us fans know its alot more intriguing and impressive in person, but some are only in terseted in how it is done, and dont feel for the magic of live enetertainmeant. one could also save alot of money buying these tapes if his current illusions were on it--- 35 bucks gets one ticket at a show of his. 35 bucks also gets tapes in which a whole FAMILY could watch. i dont think hes being money hungry, he's just a smart busness man. it makes sense not to put new stuff on tapes, that the whole point of him touring. every year people look forward to new illusions and a new experence. putting new illusions on atpe would only hurt him.*i took the liberty of starting a pro's con's list for the tape feel free to add or critique to the list, these are all i could think of --
pro's--
1. no more comercails
2. no more fuzzzy tapes with bluped stops from rewinding
and fastfrowarding so much.
3. two tapes, conveinent for finding certain illusions,
rather than just one big fat tape, not nkowing wich
illusion is where, i think it helps break up the
illsions.
4. an extra copy is nice to have
5. it has all his famous illusions shown (maybe nnot full
lenghtth but at least in a motage)statuelibety, china,
building implsion, flying, snow, barcaly, niagra etc.

6. cool case (i think)
7. some last 30 seconds before a commercial were cut off
on my home vidoetape by thelocal staion. now i can see
a few lines i missed before.
8. overall better quality of footage. clearer picture,
claer voices and audio etc.
cons----
1. two tapes means your paying more money. one
tape could had been possible im pretty sure.
2. most of it was stuff us fans already had.
3. i do wish we could have saw the full lenghth of some
of his illuiosns insted of the same ol motages.
4. it would have been nice to see somthing new on our
telivsion screens
5. im at aloss. i really think this tape lives up
to what it promised. i mean there was no real
description of what was on them, so how can
you complain. i cant thik of many cons.
