You may experience some problems posting messages this weekend. We're going to upgrade the board to the newest version...

We'll try to maintain all of the existing posts but look for some new topics as well.

If anyone has any topics they would like to add reply to this message with your ideas.

Thanks,
Todd

How about fixing a few problems first? Flash is all fine and dandy, but to be honest, if I want info I don't like going to a site and having to wait while something take sometime up to two to three minutes to load. Then, once it's loaded have to wait for each page to load. Oh, and there is the problem with printing information.

I don't know about anyone else, but it would have been nice to print off the tour schedule. Unfortunately with FLASH you can't do it.

Topics are all nice, but how about a user friendly website first? Something that doesn't operate like a Video Tape?

Um, one fear I can put to rest is that Flash can be printed. Upgrade and you'll find out.

Besides... I like the Flash... it's great. It's very user friendly and all. And it isn't that slow to load... I am on the other side of the world and it loads quite quick for me.

So leave it there Todd... I like it! :)

Really? Printable? You must have a very unique brand of software. Alas, all I have is the lastest version of Netscape and MSIE.

Amazing! I've been trying to print the tour schedule since it first popped up. I've got IE 5.2 and have tried bit map and graphic. Still get a blank page. Since I have several options in online connections, perhaps, with your surperior knowledge you could explain in detail how you are able to effect this magical feat.

Hi

I really don't know HOW I print, it just works for me!

Maybe Todd's explanation below could help? Please try to get the latest Flash plugins and see if that works.

(also try IE5.5! that's able to print Flash stuff also)

As of January of 2000 the Flash plugin incorporated a new printing feature....or at least allowed you to print it. So these people aren't making this up. Simply download the lastest Flash plugin and give it a try.

I personally have not tested out the printing capabilities but the posts above are a good sign.

Now...back to the topic of topics....any ideas?

Topics, I seriously doubt anyone but me would be interested the history of the different theatres DC has performed in. But I think the topic of History encompassing illusions and history would work. It could be a place to talk about who first performed an illusion or the elements of a current illusion and the similiarities to past illusions.
