It seems like there was an illusion he did back in the 80's with a wooden doll. It was around the same time the Bermuda Triangle illusion came out. Does anyone remember anything about the wooden doll? Ariadne

I am going to try and add more to this. I believe
David was using the wooden doll to represent himself
in this part of the illusion. He also had a compass
that went haywire - and disappeared. (plus one more
object i am drawing a blank on at the moment)
After these objects disappeared, David touched the
pyramid he was using and was pulled inside -
and disappeared.

Is it the jointed wooden doll that looks like a science model? I remember it was in the Bermuda Triangle special and all I can remember was he was holding the doll and a force pulled it to the window. He kept trying to pull it out but instead the force pulled him too like a black hole...right? Can anyone else add?

He used the doll as a test for that pyramid-shaped box in the Bermuda Triangle illusion. He placed the doll on a stand and put the whole thing inside of the puramid. The camera shows that the light inside got brighter and brighter, some smoke appeared, and when David opened up the pyramid, the doll was missing, but the stand was still there. That's all I can remember. What exactly are you trying to find out about it?

Nothing imparticular. I just remember it from when I was a kid. I remember being 8 years old, sitting there watching it, totally confused!! LOL!!! I was just wondering if anyone else remembered it too. :) Ariadne

Haha, I don't remember how old I was when I watched it...must have been around 13 or 14 :) I only remember it because I have the tape of it somewhere, and I watch all of DC's specials once in a while.
