hey dudes!!! And the long awaited, most anticipated, new webster song that davids been using and everyonne has been wodering what it is, is.......(drumroll).... "DOPE MAN" by NWA !!!!(yet another RAP song!!) I'm not quite sure which actual version he's using(i'm still searching that one- KATY I'm looking in your direction, i forgot to ask you that part) I am sure this is the song he used though. Now this is the song that plays everytime webster pops out unexpectadly from under the curtain BEFORE the actual illusion of his is done. The only time he used califorina love when i saw him was DURING the actual illusion. But anyways.. there it is- the long waited answer!!!! ( im just so shocked i found the song before ENDRE did!!) SHOCKING!! I also have another modification for allisons list-- wheni saw david do "one" this year he didn't use the slow american president instrumental like ushuall. It was very fast, upbeat music that started even before the lights go down- as lights go down music keeps playing and illusion is done. Im guessing this is that magic carpet ride music everyone is always yalking about, but im not familiar witht that song. But anyways- it wasn't on the list under "one" and i know your always asking for new music modifications, so you can change the list-so Allison there it is. also, when i saw david a few weeks ago he did uncle morty and aunt ida . Is that unushuall? I noticed it's not on the tour list either and was just wondering.

Hi there Dude!Thanks for the info. Please donīt be shocked... Seriously, Iīm kind of "shocked" people think that Iīm able to found this new songs so much faster than the rest of you! I simply ainīt able of that! First off, Iīve never seen any new Illusions including Webster live myself yet, so since it hasnīt been made a TV Special of it yet, I canīt go searching for music that I havenīt heard yet! The same goes with the Great Escapes Special. I donīt have CBS, and havenīt seen that one to be able to confirm songs yet either... Anyway, Iīm very curious to know if this dope man song is an instrumental version or not? Iīve found the California Love instrumental, and know that Itīs all about the Benjamins Instrumental is available out there (Smack my ***** up instrumental is more difficult though)... BTW:If Dope Man is the song used everytime Webster pops up etc. Please anyone tell me: Itīs all about the Benjamins is still DC Music right? - See, Iīm the guy asking the questions right now, because I just donīt have a clue until I can see this new "webster-Illusion" myself!!! Magic Carpet Ride IS PLAYED before One actual begins, but when I saw it, it was just prior to Illusion started, and not during... As for uncle morty and aunt ida this Illusion is also called Sofa... I saw it last year on Halloween, but again since I donīt usually go on his shows on "frequently bases" I do not know if itīs usual or not! (LOL I wish I did though). When David is using so much new material in music, he can impossible used all if it in his next TV Special? And Iīm thinking: What if he did use alot if music on touring the previous years as well, and Iīll never hear about it. How then can I complete the CD-Collection??? Katy...? Or better yet. about the song being aninstrumental ENDRE-- i distinctly remember the song having words. I saw david signing the words to the song as it was fading out.. so it wasn't an instrumental. BUT ITS NOT just the song- dopeman (I REALLY DONT THINK) and if it was it was DEFINATELY an edited version. IT must be a remix, with some other singers or somthing. but i looked up at a cd store that a single of dopeman was releasd with 2 diffrent versions of dodpeman on it. I havemnt been able to locate that single yet. if you find it plaese tell me. thanks.

ok,here goes -ill be as detailed as possible--
#1 WEBSTER SURPRISE- "dopeman" by NWA (unknown remix-NOT
INSTRUMENTAL (this occured right
when he's done with "the laser". the laser rolled
off the stage, the stage was cleared, until
David was standing there alone. the music was
cued and webster came wondling out frmom undr
the curtain surprisingly. he procedes to do top ten names for webster joke
bit after he has grabbed webster and that song has faded out. and puts webster away and tells him "its not time for
your trick yet" then does next illusion.
#2 WEBSTER SURPRISE-- exact same song as before. (this
occured after his video intermission montage)
webster unexpectly wadled out from curtaian again, and david
again puts him away and says "no, its still not time for your
trick webster"
#3 WEBSTER SURPRISE-STILL same version of "dopeman"
as webster wadles out from under curtain. David
gets somone form the audience to help. dopeman music
stops and says somthing like "well it's finnaly time for
your trick Webter!!" then california love INSTRUMENTAL comes
on loudly on David
gets the crowd pumped up with the music. makes webster dance,
and makes him disapear to the music. music stops. some yells
out from audience that is a plant "do it
again!!!" david gets a gun shoots him with cap gun. person
from audience yells out "yeehaaaaaa!!!!!" (by the way- VERY
FUNNY did he do this shooting bit in the old version of
webster?)
#4 - slowmotion- he does trick again, but his tim in slowmotion.
he uses the charoits of fire song. then
prcedes to finish up the trick in fast motion using once
again the unkown version of "dopeman" as he makes webster
reapear and assitant's takes webster off stage. once assitant
takes webster and webster's bucket off stage. david stood there
on stage as music faded out slowly (this is when i remember
david signing this song with his lips as it faded out). he
really enjoyed the song.* can you tell i took notes?!!! I really did!!! now,i dont know if thats a bad thing or a good thing? --so basically he only used thre songs- "dopeman" "charoits of ire song" and califonia love instumenatl. he really only used the acyual califoriana love song for about 45 seconxds which was when he first started the actual trick. it wasn't used much at all. what was mainly playing the whole time was "dopeman" by NWA . this verion he used is still unkown. the only version i have heard of it are the regular version so far, there is an edited version of the regular song but i dought thats the actual song he used. I'm still searching though. when i fingd out the ACTUAL version of the song ill let you guys know. but who knows, david likes to play around with his music alot,a dn take out words and put in beats, ext. maybe the actual version he used isn't even available because he edited so much! so there it is.. the in depth music cues, the long comontaries, the songs he used in the illusion,WOW, here i am starting to feel like ENDRE again!! if i left somthing out or you didnt understand somthing about what i just wrote, ill be glad to answer. HOPE THIS HELPS!!

ifany of you would like to help me in my search for the version of "dopeman" david uses,you should go to napster.com. for those of you who dont nkow, its a place were people can trade music, and dowload it. I wqs on last night lokking for it. there were at laest 30 paople on at the time, that had "dopeman" but knowone had any remixes or edited versions. then, i I actually found one of t the remixes!!1 i was so exited! i started downloading it with mucha ticipation!!and.. then....my computer froze. i ws unable to get it. and whne i got back on the person who had it for trade had left. so if your in saerch of the song and none of your local cd carriers have any otherversions of "dopeman" besides the original- thats the place to go.

David's crew often edit/mix the music themselves so you may not be able to find their version anywhere since it's customized specifically for David's show.MagicIntern

Hi there!I just wanted to add that I agree. I personally donīt think davidsīs complete version is available, but he have to have used one particular verison to mix at if you know what Iīm saying. I do also know about Napster. And I found several versions of dopeman. But Iīm gonna buy it on cd anyway, so I still need to figure out which version is atleast the "closest" or something like that. Still not satisfied though... Napster is really good, and so far I only have Thriller (Instrumental) and Jam Roger Jepp Mix from Napster, and not on original cd. Well, I can leave with that so far... California Love (instrumental) is available sometimes there as well, for those whoīs interested...? Right now Iīm just interested in Dope...,Man - I mean, the song! Endre"The D(ealing).C(...ards, that is). Music Guy" P.S. And RainMagic: Please donīt say that I "Crack you up" this time. Iīm not dealing with that "stuff" anymore...
