Hi,I live in Barcelona and i was really waiting for the day to see the David Copperfield show. The true is that all the different illusions were great excepting one thing. David. I don't know why, perhaps was due to the fact that the stadium was not really full, but he was doing the show without energy, sometimes even it seemed that he didn't care if we were enjoying it or not. Most of the funny part of the show is based in language humour, and he was convinced that none of us were going to understand english. Please! In Barcelona we are bilingual (Catalan and Spanish) and we learn english at the school also. It's really a pitty because the show is really great but we were quite deceived because he was quite ("far") from their audience. Regards to all.
Enric.

Hi...I saw the show two times in Barcelona and all what I can say is: Both shows were perfect and David was really good. He was so funny and did the show with 100 % energy!! You say that the people can understand english very well but when we spoke with the people in Barcelona in english (we are german)...the most answer was...No english..!!! I think that some jokes or comments can´t be 100 % translate in Spain...so perhaps you felt that DC was not interesting about the audience...but remember...when the translator speak in spanish...David can´t understand it too.!!and I think...the humor are different between the countrys or??? So I hope that you will be have a better feeling by the next show.

Oh no, I'm so sorry to hear that you were disappointed with his performance. I guess it's true that not all his shows are satisfying to his audience. Hopefully when I go to see him in December, the show will be better...
