Hey everyone! Sorry I haven't been able to post, I went to Vegas. Staying at Ceasars was awsome and so was the vegas experiance. Just to comment I saw the Bellagio water show and it was amazing and I found that I love the song "Time to Say Goodbye". Yeah I know it's kind of Opera-ish, and I am ususally not into that but I loved this song! Do you think it could be used in an illusion?

HI!

I also love "Time to Say Goodbye" ("Con te partirņ")!!!! It would be great if David used the song in an illusion, but I'm not sure if it fits into the 'DC-music' category. I really hope so, 'cause it's a beautiful song for a beautiful illusion...

Now, for me it's Time to Say Goodbye.

Dare to dream...

If you are talking about "Time to Say Goodbye" by Andrea Bocelli and Sarah Brightman, then I am in love with that song as well. It's absolutely beautiful!

Yes, Michelle I am talking about the "Time to say goodbye" by Andrea Bocelli and Sarah Brightman. It is one of my favorite songs. It is extremely beautiful. Proud to say I just bought the cd and I am listening to the song as I type. It is such a happy, sad song (I know it's an oxy moron, but you guys know what I mean!). In the cd it has the song translated into English... If any of you want to know what it means just ask and I will post it!!!! Coincidentally, the Andrea Bocelli concert was on tonight and I happened to find it while flipping through the channels. Of course Sarah was the special guest, and at the end they performed the song. It was so amazingly beautiful! I got that feeling in my throat, you know the one when you are almost going to cry... but it was a happy feeling LoL They showed people in the audience tearing up. To end this, so you guys aren't straining by time you are done, I will just say write back and tell me what you think. Oh and to your response that it doesn't fit into the "DC Muisc" catigory, well it is certainly a different piece than those he usually uses, but I could definatly see this song bringing a dramatic effect over any illusion. It's a great song.

I would love to know the meaning behind the song, Ariel!! But since this is a David Copperfield board, i wouldn't think it's, well, appropriate to post the meaning here? Will you please e-mail me the meaning/english lyrics? the original lyrics would be nice as well. decembergrace@hotmail.com

Hi Ariel! I know this may kind of sappy coming from a guy and all but I love that song too. It is one of my favorites as well. It is very graceful and pretty. I am such a hopeless romantic LoL I think this song would be excellent in an illusion, David just has to come up with one to be as beautiful as this song!

Somehow this song seems to fit the style of the younger David Copperfield - when he used more classical music and told a fuller storyline (The Painter, Father and Son, Emily, etc). Personally, I really do like his older style of telling a story. Not that I'm complaining about his current way of rock music, and lots of BANG-POW-WOW effects, but his ability to wrap a nice story around an illusion was what set him apart from other magicians. ...who am I kidding, I'm excited just to see him perform :)

Its true, it is great to see him perform, but it would be amazing to see this song put in with one of his shows! Maybe it is similar to his older style, but it is such a beautiful song! I too love how he used story telling. That is why Snow is one of my favorite illusions. The song is great and so is the story behind it... It is very emotional when he brings the audience into his experiances like that. I really enjoy when he does the more emotional, more extravagant, touching illusion. Those are the most unique and it is true that it sets him apart. They are the classics that are remembered. What do you think?

"Mystery"- Hi! I am glad that you like this song, and it doesn't sound sappy at all. I agree David should use this in an illusion! Also if anyone else wants the translation in English or the original lyrics Just ask!
