I was wondering if anyone knew the name and artist of the song that David used on one of his specials.
It was the song that he used when he severed a woman's head and took it to another table, spinned it around etc.
Any help would be appreciated.
Regards Donovan

The illusion is "Head Mover" The artist is Peter Gabriel The song is "Kiss of Life"
Check out Allison's compiled list of music used throughout the years by The Magic of David Copperfield on her very attractive web site at: http://www.allisonsbackstage.com/music/music.htm

Hey Jeff,
I knew the illusion name...also knew the song & artist name...whoa!
BUT, I don't know what species of wood Magicraft used for the Head Box Exterior. It always catches my eye in the shows, on Larry King and on the television special. Is it Birdseye Maple?
I enjoy the depth of the detail that the illusion components have built into them, details that I would assume are lost in a grand theater...but, precious to a collector!
So, let me know...plywood {hee, hee} or Maple?
"yes yes yes"

I am not certain about the wood. I never really thought about it to tell you the truth. Now that I'm thinking about it, after seeing it up close, I know it's not birch like most illusions. As you may know (or not) Paul and David Mendoza use an endless line of woods for illusions, so it's no telling what was used for Kole's Head Mover that was built for David. If I find out sometime, I'll let you know. I'm more curious why you want to know though.
Take Care,
