At the show he played some very un-David music. Like, "The Thong Song, by Sisquo" and "South Side, by MOBY and Gwen Stefani" and it didn't seem to fit at all? Has he been using these at all the shows this year?

"The Thong Song" is being used during the audience search for Panty Swap, which I feel is fitting, given the nature of the illusion.
"South Side" is being used for Shadowbox. It's a new piece of music for this illusion, but he's been know to update his music every now and then. For example, the music he uses for Squeezebox used to be "Nation" (which I loved) but is now "Smack My ***** Up" (kindda weird), and the music he used for Voyeur used to be "Twist In My Sobriety" but is now "Sailin' On"

You're thinking about "SHADOWBOX", which indeed uses "South Side"
I was talking about "SQUEEZEBOX", which uses "Smack My B**** Up"
Close, but different
